Kelly started her customer service and hospitality career in QSR when she was 14 years old and has worked in the industry ever since. Despite finishing a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design), Kelly fell in love with hospitality and became determined to follow in her father’s footsteps as a publican. She tried her hand at all kinds of roles including kitchenhand, short order cook, bartender, barista, cellarman and waiter, before working up to supervisor and management roles. Kelly has held senior management positions in pubs and nightclubs for the last 16 years and has run some of Brisbane’s most well-known Entertainment Venues.

Kelly’s passion is developing young talent and she has trained and progressed many Duty Managers, Assistant Managers and Venue Managers through the ranks over the years.  She loves hearing people’s journey through the industry and giving them the tools they need to succeed.  Running what some might call ‘niche’ venues, has given Kelly a thorough understanding of the value of finding the right people for your team.  Kelly reached the point in her career where she felt she had achieved everything she wanted to achieve in hospitality and sought a new challenge.  She left her venue in the very capable hands of her team and set out to embark on a career in recruitment helping the industry she loves find their team.
