From humble beginnings
We’ve come a long way. Since we first opened our doors over 26 years ago, we’ve grown to be one of Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted recruiters with a team of more than 100 people.
Along with our 30 owner operator franchisees, our expertise spans several industries including retail, executive retail, hospitality, health, education, IT & digital and construction.
We’re grateful for our clients, candidates and consultants who have joined us on our journey. Some since the very start.
A new era of opportunity
The investment in Frontline by Express Employment Professionals in 2020 brought with it huge potential for us to grow and expand. With 825 franchise locations employing over 552,000 people across the U.S, Canada and South Africa, we’re in good company.
Strong parent backing means we can fast-track our expansion across Australia and New Zealand. It also means we can do this without having to compromise on what we do and how we do it.
Some things change. Some stay the same
New ownership gives us good reason to articulate who we are. With major shifts in how people live and work, it’s also the perfect time to re-set and renew what’s important to us.
Australia and New Zealand are both facing a skills and talent shortage. Borders are slow to reopen and people are staying put out of uncertainty. Those willing and able to move are driven by complex human factors that artificial intelligence is yet to interpret correctly. Today, people want more from work than money. They want purposeful roles, work-life balance and wellbeing.

Why is a human centric approach so important?

What we’re seeing is a continued increase in placement success through active recruitment. At the same time, we’ve seen job boards and other methods becoming less effective, with employers and candidates alike no longer relying on them for successful placement.
For our community, it’s strong evidence that there’s no replacement for human connection to find the right people.
Thanks to our dedicated team of specialists and a rich and growing database, candidates and clients have peace of mind of attracting and engaging the right people. In fact, 75% of the candidates we place are people that are already known to us.
